6:00 PM - 7:00 PM EST
Hosted online via Zoom
Join us to discuss some of the greatest classics of medieval Japanese literature, written by women authors! In this session, we will begin looking into the Kagerō Nikki, or the Gossamer Diary, by the Mother of Michitsuna. We will specifically be discussing the translator's introduction and the first book. We will be using the second translation by Edward G. Seidensticker (most recently published by Tuttle).
