with Kasia Lynch

Thursday, January 26, 2023

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM EST

Hosted online via Zoom

(Zoom link will be in your confirmation email)

About the Event:

JSB is proud to announce the new season of our My Japan Journey podcast! To celebrate, we will be joined on January 26th by Season 1 podcast guest Kasia Lynch. After hearing about Kasia's own Japan Journey and how she established Ikigai Connections, an online hub for Japanese-related jobs in the US, we hope you'll join us for a group chat about how we build and value the connection between Japan and the other place(s) we call home.

This is a great chance to meet others who are interested in building personal and professional connections in Japan and to gather ideas about how to stay in touch even when international travel is difficult. Feel free to bring your own stories and experiences to share!

About My Japan Journey:

My Japan Journey is JSB's original podcast series. It aims to demonstrate how exploring a new culture (in these stories, Japanese culture) can enrich one's life, and how that same mentality of open-mindedness and adaptability can apply to just about anything.

We believe a single moment of curiosity can lead to a lifelong pursuit, or simply allow us to realize the unexpected opportunities life presents and help us make more meaningful connections along the way.

We hope our listeners hear these stories and feel inspired to embrace what is unfamiliar.

My Japan Journey first aired in March of 2021. Look forward to an exciting new season and check out previous episodes at the link below:
