Create a beautiful, braided necklace using the Japanese technique of kumihimo! Learn the basic concepts of: loading your cord on the kumihimo disk, using spools to prevent tangling, moving the cords on the disk to create a rope, and finishing the ends. Kumihimo is great for people on the move, as it can travel with you, in your purse, or backpack, and you can pull it out at anytime and continue where you left off. During the class, all tools are provided. Plus, every class participant will receive her/his own complete, step-by-step instructions—including photos—showing how to make your own Kumihimo jewelry at home.
