Two prominent Japanese translators will discuss their most recent work. Sawako Nakayasu is an artist working with language, performance and translations. Her most recent book is The Collected Poems of Chika Sagawa. Allison Markin Powell is a literary translator, editor and publishing consultant. She will discuss her translation of The Ten Loves of Nishino by Hiromi Kawakami.
