This exhibit focuses on contemporary Japan’s leading ceramicists who have explored and experimented with ancient Japanese pottery techniques and forms to invigorated their own modern creations. Featured are pieces from the Horvitz Collection and works from such late 20th Century potters as Kamoda Shoji, Mori Togaku, Mihara Ken and Isezaki Koichiro.
