Drs. John Bewick and Otto K Harling, Ph.D. present a program about radiation effects. Topics of discussion include the recent nuclear power plant failures in Japan; the heightened public concern related to nuclear radiation; radiation characteristics and radiation exposure and effects from natural as well as man made sources; an explanation of what happened to the Japanese power reactors at Fukushima; and the Fukushima reactor failures in perspective with other major radiation incidents in the world and in the USA.
