Join us for a Brown Bag discussion
about learning, teaching, and establishing Japanese teaching curriculum at the high school level in Boston! Hear how Rachel Eio turned her passion for learning Japanese into a lifelong commitment to teaching young learners about Japan.

Rachel Eio, who created the Japanese language curriculum at Brookline High School as well as running its exchange programs, is also the organizer of the popular Brookline Cherry Blossom Festival. In 2013, she was awarded the John E. Thayer Award for Outstanding Contributions to Cultural Exchange Between the United States and Japan for spreading interest in Japanese language and culture to her students.
