Japan Festival Boston

With Speaker Estuko Yashiro, Director & Co-Chairman of Japan Festival Boston; Co-President of Tewassa; President of GrayMist Enterprises Inc.

Meridian Room, 50 Milk St. 5F,
Boston, MA 02109

Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 12 - 1PM

Join us for a lunchtime discussion with guest speaker Etsuko Yashiro, director and co-chairman of the Japan Festival Boston!

Etsuko Yashiro moved to Boston from Japan over 20 years ago, and has been a part of the Japan Festival Boston since its first event in 2012. She is now co-chair of the executive committee, and one of two people responsible for the event, including planning and team building. Etsuko sees the Japan Festival Boston as “a place and time for understanding and cultural exchange [… It is] an annual event where we get to see our audience have fun and learn more about Japanese culture, and promote understanding for a better world.”

Etsuko will give us a look inside the Festival, from its history to how it is run and organized today. We hope to see you for this timely luncheon, just weeks before this year's Festival takes place!
